DEBUT AT DIOR! WHISPERS MAKING THEIR PRESENCE FELT AT MEN’S FASHION WEEK SPRING 2026

Jonathan Anderson

From the moment it was announced that Jonathan Anderson would take charge of all annual collections at Dior, we knew the maison would undergo subtle changes. With the highly anticipated debut of the creative director, we realize that to show a new side of the brand, it's essential to look to the past and its surroundings. At Men's Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2026, Dior filled us with art, tributes, and everyday life.

A romantic man with classic aesthetics and everyday humor is the concept presented to us. With direct references from Dior's 1948 Haute Couture archive, Anderson bases the design of some bottoms on dresses created with multilayered taffeta, bringing fluidity and a surprise element to his collection.

The collection is a whispered shout; the styling of each ensemble includes sneakers, bows, sweaters draped over the shoulder, and perfectly cut and patterned vests to match the print, as well as knee-length shirts with contrasting ties. This presentation features a wide range of colors, lengths, silhouettes, and moods.

This week, many brands have chosen to highlight everyday life. This re-introduction to the world of Dior is a lesson: to reign in the world, you must know the history of where you stand, and although Jonathan's personal vision still feels distant, we are sure this signing will bring surprises in the following collections.
